The operational challenge

NOIAA coordinates maritime logistics, shipping containers, and security training across docks, ports, and ships. Operators frequently work in offline deep-sea environments for days, carrying highly sensitive customer tariffs and cargo manifests.

The WorqSphere interventions

NOIAA deployed the WorqSphere endpoint agent to secure tablets and laptops. Setting a custom 7-day offline kill-switch count was paramount: if a controller's device went missing or fell overboard and failed to check in within 168 hours, client-side scripts initiated local AES-256 partition erasure automatically.

This completely mitigated the risk of a lost device being accessed or tampered with by third parties, ensuring NOIAA remains fully compliant with regional and international cargo-transport policies.

Client statement — NOIAA Audit Staff

“Offline security is a massive concern at sea. WorqSphere is the only system we tested that wipes files natively without needing a 4G connection. Our manifests, tariffs, and databases are completely safe from tampering.”
